EzBackTest

It’s never fun to lose money. But if you make the wrong investment decisions, you’re sure to end up losing money. Sivan Segev developed the EzBackTest to address such a situation. EzBackTest is a free financial tool – and more to the point, it is a financial tool that allows you to back test and verify any combination of stocks, ETF-s, CEF-s and mutual funds.

To get EzBackTest up and running you must go though the following steps: download an archive and extract its contents; run the setupEzBackTest executable; a setup wizard will show up and you must click through the instructions it presents. Before you go through these simple steps and install EzBackTest, make sure you have .NET Framework 4.0 on your PC. You need the Microsoft .NET Framework 4 Client Profile to run EzBackTest.

To help you get started, Sivan Segev bundled some samples with EzBackTest. You can find them in the Help menu, the Samples submenu. Load one of these samples to get a quick taste of what can be done with EzBackTest.
